Mazda’s Jinba Ittai philosophy—aimed at achieving perfect harmony between car and driver, like that between horse and rider—also extends to the onboard audio systems of the latest CX-60 and CX-80 models. At Mazda, sound is conceived together with the car itself, its structures, and its design, thanks to the expertise of the Takumi masters—highly skilled craftsmen who shape and create the components, imbuing them with soul and bringing them to life. In collaboration with Bose, Mazda’s long-standing partner, the onboard audio system was developed starting from the vehicle’s sheet metal, which was sculpted to create acoustic volumes for the woofers and dedicated housings for midrange drivers and tweeters. The 12-speaker, multi-amplified system is driven by a DSP engineered by Bose and finely tuned by Mazda’s Takumi masters to seamlessly integrate into the overall driving experience.
