The STEG K4.01 II is a car amplifier capable of delivering 4 x 95 watts at 4 ohms and designed to adapt to all typical hi-fi car audio system configurations. It is conceived as a straightforward amplifier, without built-in control stages, intended to be used directly with the output of an external DSP. By inserting an optional module into its dedicated slot—containing an electronic crossover with adjustable crossover points and levels—the K4.01 II can serve as the core of a multi-way analog system. Alternatively, with a different module inserted into the same slot, the amplifier can be upgraded to a digital configuration thanks to a fully featured 8-channel DSP. This DSP is configurable via USB and Bluetooth through a dedicated app, allowing users to manage the four internal amplified channels as well as four additional channels via RCA outputs located on a dedicated side panel provided with the module. With the K4.01 II, STEG offers not only a powerful Class AB four-channel amplifier, but also the flexibility to build a car audio system tailored to today’s needs—and ready for future upgrades.
